Wayne Brunt
Chapter - Chaplain
I’m honored to be considered for the Chaplin position within the OCI Community.
My name is Wayne Brunt, and I live in Spring, TX, with my wife Ginger and our two fur babies Cujo & Sadie. I am blessed with my son Trevor, my bonus kids Autumn & Drew and our first grandson Baby Logan.
I work at Lonestar Electric Supply in Houston and have been involved in Oil & Gas BD for the last 15 years. I was also adopted from The Texas Cradle Society in San Antonio in August of 1962 when I was 3 days old and lived in Bryan, TX until I was 18.
I have also served as a CLM for the UMC in Michigan and lead two churches Fremont & Hesperia UMC respectively.
With God’s grace I just celebrated my 12-year sobriety date, 2-24-25 which changed my life forever. I also mentored men at Teen Challenge in Midland, TX a 12-month alcohol & drug addiction program.
I was also on the Board of The Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Tyler, TX, I learned so much from the young men and how important our faith is and how we as disciples must share with everyone we meet.
God’s love and grace are the most important gifts that has been given to us, “Christians Must Not Fit In, We Must Stand Out” and let the lost know that God’s love can conquer any struggle we face.
I appreciate every person I have met in my short “Walk”; God is not done with me yet.
God’s blessings,
Wayne Brunt
